César Baldaccini is undoubtedly one of the great artists of his time, a major figure of New Realism and one of those whose works count among our modern icons. First things first: the set up was incredible. Overlooking Paris with the Pompidou Center’s floor-to-ceiling windows, César’s works are littered through this exhibition in a easy way that’s easy to navigate.
